Reaffirmation of Vows
Celebrate the joy of the years you have spent together, by reaffirming your vows to each other. You may like to renew your vows to celebrate a special wedding anniversary, no matter how many years you have been married. Some people choose to celebrate their first anniversary by renewing their vows. There are some couples that are known to signify every anniversary with a reaffirmation of their wedding vows. Couples decide to renew their wedding vows for many reasons. There are some couples who feel that they are at a stage in their relationship where they need to recommit themselves to each other and their marriage. A reaffirmation of their wedding vows can be a good reminder of the promises that they made to each other on their wedding day. On some occasions your marriage may have taken place overseas, and there may be family and friends who were unable to attend the wedding. By reaffirming your vows this gives those people a chance to take part in the celebrations. Infact Andrea and I did this, as Andrea is from New Zealand many of her family were unable to attend our wedding in Brisbane so 8 days later (after our honeymoon) we travelled to New Zealand and reaffirmed our vows. Andrea even wore her wedding dress again! How lucky were we, to be able to celebrate our marriage twice! You could do the same. This is the perfect gift to give each other. Share this special occasion with your children, grandchildren, family and friends. Make this a real celebration of your marriage and commitment to each other.
